If you don't want to have more kids. Which birth control of you use? Does that affect you in some way?

I have not used birth control for years but I'm terrified of the side effects and also don't want have kids so soon. I have 2 under 2 and having more kids is a NO for me. I don't like the idea of taking hormones though. In the past it affected me with badly with headaches, low libido, moody…nausea.

I have the Kyleena iud. It’s great!

i use the pill milli it’s a low dose.

i’m not sure if i lost weight after pregnancy or if it’s because of the pills (never thought about that). i only lost 10 lbs tho

I track and use pullout. It’s worked for the last 15yrs. When we wanted a boy and tried for him we conceived in one go, my body took to that “foreign substance” immediately lol, I chose the right day also. So he’s 5 and since him we’ve (well I ) have been tracking and he still pulls out. I haven’t been on BC since I had my 17yr old. (And she was conceived while I was on Depo 😂😵‍💫) my period came today actually. Lol. It’s like clockwork and only lasts 3 days

I’m on the mini pill and we pull out.

Im gonna get my tubes tied

Hubby got snipped 😉

We have 2 under 2 as well. Hubby got snipped and pull out method

I have a copper IUD. We have a 2y5m old and a 1y3m old so it’s a no for me, for now. I can feel the IUD during sex, my periods last hella long (7-10 days) and I can feel that my insides are swollen. That’s how you know it’s working… copper inflames your uterus so it’s not an ideal environment for inception.

I got sterilised nearly 10 years ago and worked very well 😄 it was more of a had to, though i had a growth/odd cyst (like not a normal cyst and was cutting off blood supply) and needed my ovaries and tubes removed so it wouldn't come back.

@Chrissy how did it feel getting the procedure done ? Any side effects?😭

I have the Mirena IUD. I love it!

I got the implant in my arm , it was soar for a day or two I don’t really notice a difference in anything besides I cry when I’m suppose to have my period but I don’t lol I get so so emotional

I’ve got the copper IUD, only had it a month and my period isn’t back yet from breastfeeding so not sure if it’s going to make my period worse yet or not.
