Cybex footmuff

Anyone have cybex footmuff and know why it says to use from 6 months? Want to put my 4 month in as now too big for carry cot and is going into pushchair seat and want to keep him cosy, but obviously won’t if it’s for safety reasons.

Probably because the seat is from 6 months.

It’s due to the seat being for 6minths plus, we had the same issue with my lg as she was so long we’ve been using the food muff but had an insert in it so she wasn’t sat with it by her face

The seat says birth upwards as long as they’re laid flat newborns can be in it. So do you think it’s because the footmuff is too long for a baby under 6 months ?
