I pray it does happen like this for you . I was still vomiting a month after birth and then at every period for about 6 months !
@Emily Yikes, I didn't know this was a possibility. From a lot of people I've heard once you push the placenta out, The HG stops 😫 Knowing my luck, your experience might happen to me since I've had it all throughout pregnancy. Hopefully not though 🤞
@Emily I think this is often caused by abruptly stopping certain medications and going through withdrawal. Were you on any strong meds? @Kristina if you are on anything stronger than ondansetron and xonvea, I highly recommend tapering off, not stopping cold turkey once you give birth- just check about breastfeeding with them, but then again your baby will have been exposed to the meds anyways
@Robynn To me none of them are strong 😂 But I'm currently on Cyclizine, Prochlorperzine & Ondansetron. I'm also suppose to be on Xonvea but I ran out and forgot to order more weeks ago because the GP is a bit fussy with perscribing it without a phone call.
Oh girl, the moment you give birth and the baby pops out all your sickness will disappear and it's like you never even had it. I cannot wait for that to happen to me again. Enjoy your tea and toast after giving birth at the hospital x
Idk about those, but def do your research and ask your GP! Good luck with your birth! ❤️
@Robynn I didn't abruptly stop as I was still vomiting so weaned off after otegnancy
I remember counting down too. Thd jacket potato i ate on the postnatal ward was the best meal of my life!
🎉 I cannot wait for this to be me
