I had a scan today, my first was meant to be coming too as it wasn’t an nhs one but she wasn’t well when she got up this morning so we didn’t wanna force her. So my partner was watching her and I’ve came back to him shouting and swearing at her and me when I was literally 2 minutes in the door. Didn’t wanna see baby just wanted to disappear to try and get a joint. I’m a smoker too (when I’m not pregnant) but my babies come first. This one hurt.
I’d be talking to him about getting help - this is no longer casual smoking. It’s an addiction if he can’t function and acts like that when he doesn’t have this. This is coming from someone who went through this with a partner that needed to smoke weed and would literally throw fits at nothing (wake up and start slamming things around/yelling at me if he didn’t have weed to smoke). I forced him to get help before our baby was born and told him if he can’t get it together that I would be leaving as our baby deserves better
