Feed to sleep?

Does your baby feed to sleep? How do you transfer him into the cot without waking him up and starting to scream?😩😭😭

I try not to feed to sleep at bedtime now, as I like to put her down awake, but when she wakes in the night for a feed she always falls asleep on the boob so I warm the crib with a hot water bottle and wait 15-20 mins for her to get into a deep sleep before I transfer x

I feed to sleep at bed time and through the night, it’s what my lg wants, it relaxes her enough to get to sleep quicker and sleep is so precious to us Mums these days so I don’t see the harm. I wait for her to finish feeding and she’s asleep straight away normally. I wait at least 10 mins for her to be in a deep ish sleep and for the milk to go down (guidance is 30 mins but who can do that when you’re desperate for sleep and knowing baby will be up soon enough after!) and then transfer. I lay her down from bum upwards, so bum goes down then back up to neck and then head last. Seems to work for us. I have read you can do this method but with baby on their side initially before head (so bum, then onto side, roll onto back and lay down head) as they have some startle nerves in their back that can wake them but they don't wake them if they're onto their side first apparently
