Bottles ?

Hey mama , what are we giving our LO that are sustaining them through the night ? My son drinks bottles like crazy but his eating habits aren’t the best. So I’m pretty sure he’s getting up hungry. But what are healthy options to put in his milk so he’s not waking up so much ?

Following 🫶🏼 ! same with my son 😩

Can you cut back on the bottles? I think if you can cut those back he’ll start eating better. We only do milk with meals in a straw cup. We switched from bottles to straw cups just after he turned one.

Cut back the bottles that should have been done around 1 years old. Substitute with water, give nap @ around 11am , bath before bed . Serve him a good meal that you know he will eat before bed if he’s picky . BRUSH HIS TEETH! The milk sitting on his teeth all night is already the start of a very bad teeth decay at the top of their front teeth. Kids are attached to bottles and pacifiers because of moms . We see they are attached and don’t want to take it or get over whelmed and give it back. Replace with a sippy cup with water.

Not are attached Bcz of us but they stay attached to them because we (moms) don’t discard them. ** toss them so you won’t have a bottle to hand him.

After dinner snacks: cheese, crackers, a banana, yogurt, pouch. They also don't always need that much food depending on growth spurts

Im adding 1.5 scoop of Nido powder (red top) to 8oz of milk and 3 scoops if using water. It helped my daughter eat better. Idk if it had anything to do but I noticed a change in her appetite and willingness to try more foods. Our pediatrician advised us that milk should be a supplement not a meal replacement. Good luck 🍀 😇

@Hailey Morris since you seem to know a lot , but my son started drinking bottles at 18 months. I’ve been breast feeding since. So no .. it shouldn’t have been done at 1 years old because he wasn’t drinking them.

My son's pediatrician HATES that i still give him a bottle. He has said things like "he will not eat properly", "you are creating a bad habit", etc. I see the comments on here telling you what to do instead of answering the question, i have really struggled with this too because it seems everybody including my friends relatives partner and his doctor saying no more bottles

My son still has bottles too btw

My LO still takes a bottle before bed and before naptime. It’s part of her routine. I know it’s time to switch her to something else but she doesn’t sleep with stuffies, she snuggles her bottle. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I know same and he's been sleeping good so hard to want to mess with it
