I believe it’s 50k but I checked a while ago and could be wrong

@Meg So if you receive 50k or under you can receive benefits

There is a gov calculator on there website where you can input all details like salary, savings etc and it tells you what you are eligible for and also how to apply for it

It’s nowhere near £50k! Sub £30k I’d imagine (we couldn’t get any help around that household income)

@Cal sorry you are right, I’m getting mixed up! It’s 50k that messes with the child benefit isn’t it?

@Meg perhaps. I thought it was £100k ‘Luckily’ 😂 neither of those have been issues I need to look up. ☺️

There’s a few things that affect it, how many children you have, whether you pay for childcare, if you rent or have a mortgage and then how much you earn - let’s just say if you’ve made yourself financially stable and have been able to get on the property ladder you most likely won’t be eligible for anything.

I just called up and the girl said it’s 16k ?

I think it's somewhere between £20000 and £30000. This is only if you have children. We were entitled to some UC when my partner was on around £25000 (gross pay) but it wasn't a lot (and didn't end up having it because it proved an absolute pain applying). You can always use the entitled to calculator to check if you are entitled to anything.

Wow! That’s low.

@Jess thank you two different calculators just told me two different things … I’ll just apply and see what happens
