Colostrum collection

I started at 37 weeks, tried once a day for a couple of days with very little result, then tried collecting 3 x in one day in the same collector (store in fridge in between) that seemed to help.

I’ve been collecting since 36 weeks for 30 mins a day and had no signs of labour. I’m 39+1 today and still nothing :)

I’m 37+5 And I started on Saturday night, no signs of labour but I didn’t manage to get much only did about half an hour on each side and after I got out the bath

I’m 38 weeks and been collecting since 36 and have no signs of labour, I collected once a day for the first week and upped it to 2/3 times per day for the second week!

I started at 37.4 and I’m currently 40.4. It did not induce labour lol. There’s always a chance but it’s not likely! I knew people who didn’t harvest at all and went into labour at 37W VS those who harvested every day and didn’t go until 41W. So I really wouldn’t worry

I’ve been collecting using a breast pump since 38 weeks for 10 mins a day. Currently 39+5 and no signs of labour at all. I did attempt to hand express from 37 weeks but after a week of not collecting anything, I gave up and switched to my electric breast pump and managed 4.7mls my first time

Thank you for your responses 🙂 it calmed me down and will start this week 😁 I didn’t bought pump yet so hopefully hands will do their job 🙈

Ive just started, 38 weeks today. Started yesterday for about 10 mind and today the same. Got a very little amount but will increase over the next few days

I’m 37.2 and trying to collect but nothing as of yet. Trying twice daily in syringes and the MAM collection tubes x
