First birthday

What's everyone doing for their babies first birthday if it falls midweek? Originally I assumed we would just have family at home, but Los birthday so a Wednesday and now I'm not sure if we should do something just us on his actually births ya and then do something with family on the weekend 🤔

He'll be at nursery and I'll be working the actual day so planning to do something that weekend as it's Easter weekend with all the family

Our LG first birthday also are on Wednesday so probably we will move it to Saturday, because her brother will be at nursery and dad at work anyway. I'm sure she's not gonna be mad about it 🤣

My little boys birthday is a Thursday so I think we're going to have a family day out then tea party at the weekend x

We have a wedding reception on the evening of her birthday, so we will be keeping her off nursery that day and doing something small with family the weekend before her birthday because my MIL and FIL are on holiday the weekend after.

Our daughters is on a Thursday. We will be away on holiday. We fly a few days before

My bro is the 15th, baby is the 16th, me the 17th & my niece the 18th ~ BUSY! Then it’s Easter!

Me and my partner will probably book the day off work and take the kids for a day out somewhere (zoo or aquarium probably 🤷🏼‍♀️), then we’ll see the rest of the family either the weekend before or after

His birthday falls on Easter Monday this year as Easter is late so I’ll be on school holiday and won’t have to work and his dad won’t be working either so we might go out for the day.

We didn’t do anything for my eldest’s first birthday as she didn’t know any different and we were working.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
