For those that formula feed

How have you managed night feeds with your baby so that they don't wake up too much. My supply is dropping and my LO still wakes up about 3/4 times in the night and nurses back to sleep. I'm worried that going to sort a bottle when he wakes up will take too long and bring him all the way out of sleep so that he won't go back down. What do I do to avoid this please?

I use the nuby rapid cool and every night before bed I fill up a litre thermos flask with boiling water and bring that and a few bottles and her formula upstairs! Then there’s no need for me to pop down and boil the kettle or leave the room at all! I find it takes me about 2-3 minutes to make a bottle doing this x

Once a bottle has been made you can keep them out at room temp for 6 hours. So I always bring a couple up with me to be ready !👌🏻❤️

@Melanie It’s room temperature for up to 2 hours and after that discard the milk.

You can also make and then store in the fridge for up to 24hrs, warm up as needed :)

My daughter has a cows milk allergy and her milk has to be made and used immediately so I use the Nuby rapid cool like Grace above. Super convenient and while I'm making the milk my husband changes her nappy so it's all a relatively quick process.

Buy a Nuby rapid cool takes 3/4 mins but I wouldn’t just feed because they are stirring I would allow them to fully wake up because they may not actually wake up and may re settle themselves x

@Melanie it’s 2 hours out the fridge and 24 hours in the fridge.. expressed breast milk is 6 hours x

2 hours if drank from. HV in the UK confirmed

@Melanie no it’s 1 hour if drank from, they’ve given you incorrect information babe x

@Melanie Your HV needs retraining then.
