Sitting in a high chair
We have started putting our LO in his high chair as he is begging to sit independently and we are getting him used to it due weaning however when we put him in the high chair he sits slouched or slanted even when we sit him upright. We have the peg-Perego high chair and wondered if it’s due to the high chair being too big….. I know for weaning they need to sit upright independently so not sure what to do

You can try putting some rolled up muslin cloths by the sides to give a bit more support. Think you can also get some inserts online as most highchairs will be a little big and slidey
I used to have a high chair that you couldn’t adjust the seat height or the distance the tray sat from them etc and my son can sit up by himself now but he would always slouch in that high chair as the material is slippy too he just didn’t want to sit up in it. Now using the mybabiee premium high chair and it’s so good you can adjust the height of the chair up and down, can adjust how far up and down the seat is so you can recline the chair all the way back or all the way to a proper sitting position and the tray can be adjusted too. He sits perfectly in this, I had the same worry as BLW but now I know he will be fine grabbing the food off the tray and be sat up x
