@Dana I spoke with the manager too of the reception and said there’s not much they can do when the nurse sticks to a schedule but last time she had her injections we waited round for 30 mins! Swings in roundabouts. Yeh I asked if it was a problem delaying it so much she said apparently not so, just annoying as I wanted to take her swimming asap too! I literally cried so much haha they must’ve thought I was being pathetic 😂
That’s incredibly unfair. This nearly happened to me recently I just had to shout out ‘excuse my babies injections are due in 5 minutes can you let the nurse know we are here’. I’m not normally outspoken but since I’ve had my boys I’ve had to be
I should’ve done that! 🥲 such a joke isn’t it! @Rochie I am a nurse myself, I know how it can be but I just felt like there was no sympathy at all!
@Brittany Marshall you can still go swimming. You don’t even need the first set but most people wait till they have before taking them x
@Stacey I know I just worry so much with all the germs in the pool, feel like it’s probably the worst place you could put a baby especially when they go on about sterilising this and that all the time🙈😂 x
@Brittany Marshall were I livie there is a small pool for swimming lessons. They do family swims and I took my kids there. The training pools uses less harsh chemicals. If you have anything like that around you that might offer family swims. Once they start crawling you wonder why you sterilise anything haha
Omg that’s ridiculous and completely the surgery’s fault 😢 I’d be livid!!! Surely by delaying it that much she’d be due her 16 week jabs by the time she gets her 12 week ones? I would have kicked off, so sorry about this!! I completely understand your frustration
