Wake windows

Anyone have any creative ideas for keeping baby busy during wake windows or any other toys etc. currently rotate between playpen, play ring, jumper, walker and if struggling the dancing fruit 😂 he wants to spend all his time in the walker which im trying to deter so if theres any other ideas I’d appreciate. Normally would put in buggy and go a walk but I live in a very rural area and we are currently knee deep in snow and ice

I'm wondering this as well. As I'm struggling to keep my little girl occupied as well

Some current favourites here, looking at the word from different angles in the play mirror, playing with any empty plastic bottle or I have added, pasta/ rice to make them Shakey. Water play in the high chair- literally put water in a suction bowl and the splashes. Turn up the music and hold him while we dance, chasing things I roll, and story time

Singing/dancing, messy play - mix yoghurt with a tiny bit of no added sugar food colouring in a bowl, read books

Can’t say I did this at the end of a wake window BUT something else we’ve started is opening the high cupboards 😂 I’ve shown her teabags : glasses. Looking in the fridge was a hit too 😂

Just change it up with all the things you mention but also try and play with putting a ball in the hole in one of those Montessori toys (not lovevery) let them explore cupboards of sage things or take to shops xx
