My husbands cousin made a comment at Christmas in a rude way about how big I am. I said “yupp growing a human” and walked away. I wanted to say something more snarky but didn’t want to ruin the holiday

@Lindsey yeah I have stoped to say something too, but yesterday I got two comments again and I did not say anything since they both are from work but I got tired of letting people to talk about my body. So I am looking for what to say next time, it was enough…

Not really. Only 2 comments from doctors, one saying I was too chubby for an ultrasound and the other saying I looked more pregnant than I am 😂 when I was very early on my dad implied I was eating too much.

Towards the beginning of this pregnancy My MIL told me to stop eating bread and rice 🙃 and that I didn’t have a baby bump that it was just all the carbs I’m eating 😬 I ended up telling her about my previous eating disorder and that I wouldn’t be restricting my eating during pregnancy because I want a healthy baby more than to be skinny while pregnant. Now I’ve gained too much weight but I really only eat healthy stuff 🤷♀️ all the ladies in my family kinda blow up while pregnant but they lose it. I’m not super concerned. I’ll diet when baby gets here
Omg WTH ?!?! Reading these comments I’m in shock?? Why would anyone say anything like this to a pregnant woman???? I didn’t realize how common this was…. I thankfully haven’t had this issue yet but if I do I don’t know how I would react
My fiancés brothers gf has made comments, rest assured she was not invited to my baby shower I do not need that energy around me🙅🏻♀️
@Harlie sorry your MIL is rude, but glad you are ok, our body is doing so much to worry about how skinny we looked, as soon as our checks are fine! 🫶🏼

I had an old man that I’ve known since I was a preteen make a comment about how big I am a few weeks ago and I said, “I gave birth to my first child 13 months ago and I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my second… that’s my excuse- what’s yours?” 🤣 I can’t stop thinking about how funny the whole interaction was! He is one of those people with no filter but who also gets baffled very easily so his face was priceless
