A&E records
Does anyone know if you can request your child’s a&e records & how to do so?- she’s had tonsillitis so many times but doctors only have it on there records 5 times and I’ve been to a&e several times with her having it too but doctors always tell me they can’t get a&e records. But I need to be able to prove it to be able to get her tonsils out!

If they have the same system, it should all be uploaded. I know when I’ve been to A&E either for myself or my kids, it’s gone onto their records. Can you not speak to the hospital and ask for the information to be sent over to the GP?
Contact PALS who'll refer you to the right contact. I just had my hospital records sent to me was fairly straightforward.
@Scarlett, how old is your daughter? Cause my son is 3, and he's had lots of tonsillitis. Will they take your daughters tonsillitis out?
Should be accessible. Whenever we’ve been in A&E the discharge letter is uploaded into his records and I can view that in the NHS app alongside his GP records.
