HELP - Hair loss postpartum & PCOS

Hello Ladies (The picture is the amount I lose every wash) This is for the ladies who have had babies previously with pcos. What was hair loss like for you? I am losing clumps of hair each wash. I'm also losing fist full every time I brush. It's a good job. I have thick hair, or I would be baled. I did lose hair from PCOS before I got pregnant. I was worried it was going to come back with a vengeance. My hair is thinner, then it's ever been even with pcos hair loss. How have you ladies stopped it or slowed it down? I already feel ugly and unhappy with myself, and my hair was the only thing good. If I don't have my hair, my self-esteem will be shot because its hang on by a thread at the moment. Help!!!

Hi! I was looking probably double that every time I washed my hair! My hair was also very thick so went thin but least I wasn’t bald! I used to hate showering and washing my hair as it would literally just fall out 😭 I was using plantur growth shampoo and it stopped eventually. I’m now 9 months pp and my hair is growing back thick again! It does end and you won’t be bald! Hope this makes you feel at least a little better x

Aww, thank you for your answer. 9 months doesn't seem to long. I'm hoping that my thickness will come back too.

Anything to help! Mine didn’t start falling out till 4 months pp! Mine stopped falling out about 2 months ago! So I was 7 months pp when it stopped! I’m sure it will! X

Mine came out in one goboth post-partum periods around the 3-4 month mark. Was stomach churning. Then my hair recovered over time.

I'm hoping short lived. Xx
