Nursery waiting lists
I thought people were being over dramatic telling us to contact nurseries already but the first one I called today have first availability March 2026! If you’re needing childcare from 9 months it is genuinely worth checking already! Not sure if it’s just where I am is super busy and I’m sure it’s not all the nurseries (eg. another one has availability from Sep 2025) but yeah.. have to admit I was pretty surprised.

It's everywhere. I put my son on waiting lists at 4 months pregnant he didn't get a spot until a month before his 2nd birthday

It's because funding has now come in from 9 months old so places are filling up quick! When I got my children in they only had 2 days available and only recently I've got them up to 3 days x
Got her placement at 12 weeks after our scan as it fills up so fast! Luckily siblings get priority at our nursery! X
