Oatmeal in bottle

So my daughter is currently 4 months and everyone recommends to start putting cereal (oatmeal) in her bottles. Has anyone else started this early and if so how much do I put ?!!

I did with my youngest . Don't put a lot in but enough where she can get an idea of it . I started with very little in the beginning it also helps with making their tummies a little fuller.

@Charriesse for a 3 ounce bottle would 3 tsp be too much?

I was told to do it for my acid reflux baby but it's a major choking hazard so I refuse

It's a choking hazard if it's to thick

🤷‍♀️ what i researched said any amount is a choking hazard. Idk to each their own

@Selena I would do little less then 3tsp you don't want it thick because she is 4 months old . It's really up to you if you wanna put oatmeal or cereal in it . Some moms do and some moms don't it's what you think is best

Yes a lot of people do this and I did this u put a little and it makes the baby full a lot of people don’t know about this that’s why they think the baby can choke but I have 3 kids and they all grew from it just put in bottle with formula or milk and shake it up very very good and ur baby will be fine

@Crystal thank you so much! How much did you start off with!?
