@Stephanie I used this one :) https://www.yummytoddlerfood.com/healthy-sugar-cookies/ We haven’t bothered icing yet, she’s munching away on a plain one, but might let her loose with the icing tubes later this afternoon!
This is so lovely, is this the first time you did some baking with her? My LG helps with some very basic things in the kitchen but I’m not sure how we would manage with flour and things like that!
@Sara we’ve done a bit here and there, and we did a toddler cooking course in autumn, so she’s been exposed to mixing and adding things to a bowl. Ngl the flour did get a bit everywhere, as I was letting her spoon it out of the tub into the bowl, but it was lots of fun! She also spooned the sugar, squeezed the vanilla paste in, and did some good mixing. I did the butter and the baking powder, and started the proper mixing by hand then let her get in there. She helped me wrap it in cling film, and then helped with the rolling and cutting. Definitely need a more toddler friendly rolling pin though, mine is marble and very heavy 😬
Have you got a recipe? What a fab idea 😍 x
