That’s so stressful. Have you worked with a lactation consultant? I’ve found them to be incredibly helpful (and nonjudgmental). I’m also signed up to go to a breastfeeding support group to meet & learn from other moms. May be worth considering so y’all can get some reprieve.
I’m so sorry that you are going through this! Are you burping every 5-10 minutes? This could definitely reduce spit up and help your little one get a little fuller. I also try to prop baby up a bit more rather than feed completely sideways. I have found my baby cries after a feeding because she hasn’t been able to pass a big burp or has some gas buildup. Helping her through that ends the crying immediately. Also agree that reaching out to a lactation consultant would be a good idea!
My daughter is like this. I have a severe family history of GERD and acid reflux. My son who is almost 2 has it and so does my daughter who is a month old. They both take Pepcid. I also had to cut a lot of stuff out of my diet because it was affecting my daughter. Dairy was the main thing but also caffeine, I only drank one pop a day and it was still enough to effect her a lot
So this sounds about like how my daughter was, turns out she had acid reflux. And she also had a horrible diaper rash that went along with it. I switched her to the formula, Enfamil, AR and it was like a brand new baby.
@Caitlyn doctor switched him to formula today… hypoallergenic somatic

Sounds like my son. He just turned a month old & when he was a week old, he was spitting up & throwing up A LOT. I was nursing & bottle feeding. Then I switched to nurse exclusively. The spitting up & throwing up slowed DRASTICALLY. Fast forward to now, he's started back throwing up a little again, but not as much as before. I used to think it was me too, like maybe my milk was bad for him🥺 He was super fussy all the time, except for when he was sleep. I've noticed that he is a lot calmer after feeds now. I would def also try to watch what you eat as well. Sounds like it's just gas though. I considered mixing with formula but I didn't want my supply to go down & I've yet to find a formula that I'm comfortable with. There are so many different additives & hard to pronounce ingredients & stuff in certain formulas (not all) & I would just prefer the most natural, similar to breastmilk one. If one exists lol. Just do your best, go with your gut & do what works for you & your little one! You got this💪🏽🤗
Hello, your baby may be crying after feeding bc he is still hungry if he is throwing up his food source. Going to formula may help since the formula can be a little heavier then breast milk. You can always mix your breast milk in with the formula and see if the baby keeps the milk down. But I did notice that if my son throws up after feeding he will start screaming. I tried feeding him after he threw up and he was calm.
