Nursery do Breakfast - toast and cereal Snack- generally fruit and rice cakes Lunch - a home cooked hot meal with a yogurt for pudding (we don’t allow sugary desserts) Snack - more fruit and raisins/ breadsticks Tea - pancakes/ something on toast/ sandwiches that kind of thing. We don’t offer cows milk as still breastfeeding but I personally wouldn’t accept them giving milk instead of a snack. Milk should be complimentary at this age not in place of food x
Nursery do: Breakfast Snack (includes drink of milk in a cup) Lunch Snack (includes drink of milk in a cup) Tea She never had milk at nursery until she was fully weaned onto cows milk. They offer it as a drink with her snacks, so only has a small amount each time. She has a cup of milk at home before bed. She eats well, but loves her milk
Nursery do: Breakfast Snack Lunch Dinner Snack We generally do Breakfast Lunch Dinner (Snacks as and when) Nursery follow our lead in terms of milk and since we stopped giving it regularly at home she generally doesn't have it at nursery either.
