Long haul flight advice
Hi all, we are taking our 11 week old on a long haul flight (12/13 hours) and spending 2 months in a different country). Any advice on what to pack for the plane, or tips/tricks for travel with a bub?
We are taking our Doona and baby carrier.
Thanks!
My saviour was little pre made packs of one nappy and wipes. So much easier when I was doing the long haul by myself than juggling the whole pack. Also brought disposable puppy pads as changing mats for the airport and plane. Obviously a bit wasteful but you’ve gotta do what works and those bathrooms are gross!! The babies get really frightened by the aeroplane toilet flushing to try to cover their ears or even use ear defenders for bathroom visits. We are a no TV house but the screens were an absolute blessing. Definitely carrier only at the airport, no need for a pram etc. people were amazingly friendly and helpful most of the way. If you need help, ask! Enjoy your trip!
