Inspirational success stories with a high risk pregnancy?
Hi everyone. I’m trying to look for some positivity regarding successful high risk pregnancies, as I am feeling quite unmotivated, but trying to stay optimistic.. If you could share your issues + your success story, I’d be very grateful :). I will post my high risk issues below, in case anyone has gone through something similar..
I am 26 years old with diabetes and in late 2022 I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks.. I’m currently 24 weeks and found out last week the following:
- Cervix is at 25mm (should be around 35mm and above)
- Baby is in the 7. Percentile, so smaller than 93% of babies in the 23. Week
- High blood pressure
- High BMI (but this is known from the beginning onwards of course)
- Insulin-dependent Diabetes
For most of my pregnancy, I knew something was off, aside from just my diabetes, but I had a terrible Gynae that didn’t listen to me and was very critical of my weight and I thought most of my issues were in my head.. I finally was able to find a new Gynae who is amazing and took so much time for me and found out so many issues I feel like could’ve been avoided or found out much earlier.. I’m beyond scared of what will happen and im told I will definitely not carry till 38-40 weeks. I keep thinking it’s going to happen anytime soon.. would love to hear some positive stories :)
