Rhesus negative

Hiya, I’m Rhesus negative, still waiting to find out my baby’s blood. I’m 23 weeks- how far along are you? Wondering when I’ll find out… I bled a lot early pregnancy but haven’t since the first trimester. Try not to panic, they used to not give injections until the baby was born. Can you call your midwife and see if they suggest anything else? x

I'm rhesus negative but that doesn't cause you to bleed as far as I'm aware/have never been told that. In my first pregnancy, my daughter was rhesus positive so had anti-d but no bleeding. I'd say the bleeding is unrelated

I’m 21+6 days I had a blood test at 16-17 weeks which told me what baby was, and yeah spoken to midwife she said any sort off bleeding I have to go get an injection, so I’ve had 4 injections in total so far 🙈

I have O-. Currently trying for baby. Husband is O positive. My sister has the same blood type and I agree that doesn't cause bleeding. At least it didn't for my sister for her children that have positive blood type. Did the doctor tell you that's why you are bleeding?

Nope everytime I’ve been I’ve had a examination it was only on my 3rd time going in they found I’ve got a polop on my cervix but they don’t seem to think this is what’s causing the bleeding either c

Hmm try and push them for more answers, say it’s stressing you out with the bleeding so not good for baby. I didn’t think my bleeding was related just implantation bleeding but never know! Hope you find out more answers soon lovely x

@Abbie hang in there! I think you'll be okay though, my mother as well is positive blood type/father is -, and there's 3 of us lol. It's very common. Hope they find why you are bleeding. Try to not panic 💕

I went to hospital yesterday and they wouldnt give me the injection and sent me home. Spoke to midwife today and she’s told me I’ve got to go get the injection but I’m an hour away from home so got to try a different hospital to see if they are any better!🙈 it’s all soo confusing!x

I want to say they only give that injection within 72 hours after or just before delivering. I think it's after though.

I'm this, just waiting for results on the baby's blood. Got told if u did bleed/fall/bump I needed the injection but this is before I find out. I did bleed at 6 weeks but didn't need it then as the placenta wouldn't have been attached.

Yeahh I bled firstly at 5 weeks before knowing but they put that down to a water infection which cleared after a week x

i’m O-, my first born is something positive tho so i had to have the anti d injection i think at 32 weeks, was probably the most painful of all the injections, not sure if i had it again after birth cause a lot happened and i blacked out a lot😂 have to have another test at 26 weeks to check the blood type of this one, hoping its negative like me this time😂

I totally agree it’s the worst injection 😂
