Gestational diabetes

I was diagnosed at 36w and was diet controlled. I was induced at 40w and my baby arrived at 40+2 at 8lb3

I got diagnosed with my first at 28 weeks,was induced at 38 weeks but ended up in a c-section at 38+6 but this time round I was diagnosed at 37 weeks and due to have my baby via c-section at 39 weeks so two weeks today x

I was diagnosed at 28 weeks, induction was booked for 39+5 and she eventually made an appearance 40+1. She was 8 pound 3 oz. I think rough guidelines are induction/ section at 40 weeks if diet managed, 39 weeks for metformin and 38 for insulin but sure that varies from place to place. X

@Chloe did you have insulin or metformin? Or was you diet controlled?

Diagnosed at 28 weeks. Was induced at 38 +5. My daughter was 8lbs exactly. I had diet controlled and didn't have it with my second pregnancy x

All three and my son was still 9lb 1 x

I had GD with both my babies. First diagnosed at 32 weeks had induction at 38+3 which ended on emergency c section 10 days later as got stuck as was no room on delivery suites for 10 days. Second I got diagnosed at 30 weeks and ended on insulin and Metformin for fasting blood sugars and had section booked at 38+3 as brought forward from 39+3 due to medication

Was on metformin and insulin, went in for induction at 39 weeks and it took a week so she came on her due date after all that 😂 6lb 12.5oz.

My mum & my friend had to have their babies at 37 weeks due to this, my friend had to have section. And my mum was induced natural labour ! This can happen im a high risk pregnancy now so may have to give birth around 37-38 weeks pregnant ! But got to have diabetes test in March! X
