Im in the same boat with my almost 2yr old too - yes its ok, every kid is different & will come around in their own time ❤️ We’re having a good by bottle party tonight and have completely removed all things bottle from the house. I’m anticipating a battle but hoping for the best. I bought a few kinds of cups to try out with favorite characters, weighted straws and silly straws.
Same here…. And in my eyes giving him milk no matter how is then important part I truly couldn’t care less in forcing a sippy BUT I know his dr says he probably should be broken.. and “if he wants it he will drink it” and I’m like, BUT HE DOESNT!!!!
Hey there! We're in the same boat over here. My AB still drinks 2 bottles of milk each day, which helps her nap and sleep soundly at night. I'm a FTM and at a complete loss as to how to change this 🙈
@Amanda same here FTM…. And he has it first in morning, nap time and then bed time
Following .. I am in the same boat. My son will be 2 in April. He drinks water or apple juice just fine from any kind of sippy cup. But milk he refuses unless it’s in a bottle 😭
The same here following 🙈
Have you tried a straw cup? We use the doctor brown straw cups and my son loves it! He’s been off the bottle since before he was 1
Was in the same boat. Then he decided one day he did not want any more milk and began upping his food intake. He will drink chocolate milk out of a cup when he wants it but that’s it and not the main part of his diet anymore. We never restricted any milk or tried to force him, we were just consistent with offering food until he was ready.
Im on the similar boat, especially since my toddler doesn't eat well enough to keep her full thru the day, I resulted to adding baby cereal in the milk when she turned 1 (ik not everyone's cup of tea, but works for us)...so now taking the bottle from will be taking the actual meal from her day, and ill go crazy with the terrible eatin habits of toddlers, without that 1 or 2 bottles per day. So I need a good sippy cup that'll handle the milk with the cereal in it...I've bought a couple, but they're Not It. Im due with a new baby any day now, soo, the sooner i make this change the better 😫😫🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️so we don't have sets of two bottles in the house.
Same thing here. He just cries and cries and cries whenever it’s in a cup. I feel like he should be done with this by now but I haven’t been able to figure out how.
