How old is the birthday kid and the kids you’re inviting? For us, we have a 3 and a 1yr old, 1-3 is nap time so we say no to any party during that.

Can you not have it earlier? Like 11 - 1pm?

You are never going to suit everyone.
3-5 prob so they can nap before then be sleepy for bedtime.

It’s only one day so I’m sure most people will be flexible with naps.

We are not 100% bang on schedule at weekends which helps a lot socially!!

Now my son is not napping any of those would work
But his friends some of them still nap, so I would pick the later one to accommodate however at this age, they might be dropping their nap and this is an awkward time where they might get a bit overtired
Is an earlier time not an option? X

We’re doing 11am-12.30pm because although most others are more flexible, I’ve always been stressed going to parties if it’s during nap time / later in the day but I’m just one of those parents that keeps to routine, having said that, I do still always make the effort to go, I’m sure most will come whatever the time will be x

I’d say earlier personally as after 1pm my toddler would be wild from being tired 😂 we are doing 12-2:30 x

A lot of 3 year olds don't nap anymore so having a party 3-5 is just a time where they are more sensitive to crying etc.. so 100% I would pick 1-3pm

My son's party is 11-1pm

The venue is available from 12:30 onwards - so earliest I can do is 1pm

I done 10:30-1.. worked great 😃

I’ve chose to do 11-1 😅 hoping for a good turnout 🤞🏼

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
