Fully engaged to giving birth?
Had midwife last week and told fully engaged 5/5 how long was everyone else fully engaged to having baby? This is 2nd baby and am 38weeks! So much pressure down below just a waiting game and so impatient 😅😅

Yes, 1/5 is fully engaged, 5/5 is not at all!

Oh interesting, I got told I was 4/5ths but he was only just above the pelvis so the opposite to you...
@Louise im the same i got told i was 4/5 2 weeks ago but that was just above pelvic line.. as the less the 1st number the more engaged.. xxx
This has always confused me.. Midwife said one thing and Google says another. She said I am 3/5 and baby is only 2cm inside pelvis so from research baby is 3/5 platable (what can be felt above pelvis) but 2/5 engaged. I hope that helps.
