I haven’t been pregnant again since my 30 weeker… but a good friend of mine had her first son at 33 weeks, was in the hospital for a few days around the same time with her second but they were able to stop the contractions with medication and she made it to 37 weeks
My first was born at 31+4 And my second was born 36+2 both spontaneous
My first was a 27+5 when born and I was told I could have another one early. Once I found out I was pregnant with 2nd I went to high risk clinic and they kept saying I was on the low risk of being high risk. I stayed in that clinic to be safe. Baby did try to come at 28 weeks but we were able to hold baby off till 37 weeks.
I went into spontaneous labour with my first 2 at 32 weeks. I’m being more closely monitored this time and have been put on progesterone twice daily, fortnightly scans, and the possibility of the stitch if my cervix shortens too much further. (I’m 17 weeks and cervix is 30mm, so not a major concern atm unless it goes to 28mm) xxx
My first baby was 28+2 My second was 28+3 Doc said if I tried to have another it would most likely be the same as the other two.
@Chelsey this is what I’ve been told too. Did they find a cause for your prem births? Just curious as mine were just put down to ‘one of those things’. I also never got any intervention / extra monitoring with my 2nd, so I’m hoping this time I’ll be able to carry further xxx
I feel your anxiety however our story is slightly totally different but with my 2nd child my waters broke at 22wks and at 24wks I had to give birth due to an infection - he will be 3yrs in March! In 2023 I fell pregnant again and at 21weeks my cervix was opening, so I had a stitch placed with scans every 2wks, Stitch removes at 37wks and gave birth at 39wks However that being said I was told I could still go into early labour, even if ut was at 30wks baby would have a little stay in nicu, I was even told by 36wks babies are classed as fullterm - I know easier said than done but try not to worry to much 💕
