Putting toddlers in baby carriers

Is there anyone that still puts their boy in a baby carrier post 18 months old and they like it or at the very least tolerate it? We haven’t used one since my son was probably 10 months but we’re going on a trip and wasn’t sure if it would make things easier or if he’d just hate it being older and so active now. Any thoughts appreciated!

I thought you meant car carrier 🤣 I was like what?! 🤨 my lo still loves the carrier. We used it recently while he was sick and wanted to be stuck to mommy like a barnacle 😅

I do with my 2 year old a d he loves it still I have him on my back !

If they are not too heavy I don't see why not. My son is already 13.5kg at 16 months and I'm quite small, so I don't think that' an option for me anymore. But I used to carry him until he got to 11kg

@Christian lol that’s what I thought too! I was like what?

They do make toddler carriers too

We use our ergo baby! My son just turned two & we still use it almost daily for going out to walk the dogs (:

@Kelly it's not recommended for forward carrying past 12 months. You'd both be comfier with a back carry. But obviously check your specific carriers manual for what it can do

@Devon I use ergo Omni breeze and it's really comfy for front carrying for us both! He defintley prefers it to being on my back with restricted view c
