How many ounces of formula
I hope this doesn’t sound silly, I’ve recently switched over from EBF to formula feeding and am wondering how many ounces my LO should be having throughout the day? She’s 9 months old and I’ve been offering her a bottle every 4 hours, usually 6oz. 9 times out of 10 she’ll finish the bottle, but I’m just wondering if this is too much? I know every baby is different and to go by her cues but I’m worried if i’m over feeding her xx

Is she on solids yet? Because the formula amount changes once they start solids. I think it's like 24oz a day once they're on solids but no more than 32 oz in a day
@Leslie She is! So she’s having three meals now and the four bottles so one when she wakes, after first nap, after second nap and then just before bed. Thank you so much, so she’s in the right amount bracket then xx
Yeah that sounds actually pretty perfect IMO. I think they also say no more then 32oz because of the amount of iron that's added into formula. I remember them telling me that with my first son once he was older. He was only on formula from birth but this was also like 9 years ago lol.

Mine was at 8 oz with cereal by then. If she’s satisfied after eating then you’re fine. Plus she’s going to go through growth spurts where all she does is eat and sleep.
