&& what type of induction was it ?
@Kady🦋 Yes a natural birth! I had 2 pessary’s, a balloon catheter, and a hormonal drip, and then finally but hesitantly an epidural xx
I’m 40 weeks and having a sweep tomorrow morning but will book an induction at the same appointment, I’m just praying all things go well !
Does the sweep and induction hurt?

@Kady🦋 Thank you, and aww congratulations, nearly there! I didn’t have the sweep so I can’t speak for that for you, sorry! But induction didn’t hurt for me, it’s just when the contractions get too close together! Everything will go well, your body will do things naturally, good luck! Xx
How long were you in labor for and like how long did contractions last? Did you have any pain relief? Sorry so many questions!

@Kady🦋 Labour - about 9 hours I think! Contractions - I’m not too sure, sorry! Pain relief - started on the usual paracetamol, codeine and tramadol, and I had gas and air, and ended up having an epidural! Xx
Awe okay I’ve booked in my induction for a weeks time as when I went today at 40 weeks I wasn’t dilated :( . I really don’t wanna be induced and have a c section I really just want to have a natural birth 😫
@Kady🦋 speak to the doctor and tell them that you dont want that! I wasn’t too bothered about induction as I have had it before, but I was adamant that I didn’t want a C-section; this one doctor really listened to me, and for that, I was thankful as this is also my last baby! Make your wishes heard, they need to respect that! Xx
Sorry I don’t mind being inducted, but I don’t wanna have a c section, so if I’m inducted am I able to express about me really not wanting a c section x
@Kady🦋 yes, because that’s exactly what I did! They ask about how you want your labour, and we said thousands of times we really didn’t want a section unless it was the last resort, and we really wanted a vaginal birth! They seemed shocked I had already had one, but proved them wrong! You know what’s best for you, they have to respect that!Xx
