Transition to Full Fat Cow’s Milk

My little boy is turning 1 next Saturday 🥳 I was wondering how you all transitioned from formula/bm to cow’s milk? Can I do it just before he turns 1? He was born low birth weight so it’s been a bit of hard time getting him to gain weight.

I’m currently trying to get my girl onto cow’s milk from BM and she turns 1 at the end of the month. She isn’t a fan 😂 I’m basically giving it to her before her morning nap and if she doesn’t take much (which she doesn’t currently) I give her yoghurt so at least she’s had something. Think I need to play around with different cups, I’m just going to keep offering until she takes to it (if she ever does ..!). Would love to hear anyone else’s ideas

Swap out an oz every day x

My little girl is 1 and 2 weeks and still on formula to be honest. She’s been ill since turning 1 and haven’t wanted to try changing just yet and upsetting her anymore than she already is. X

We ran out of formula about 2 weeks before my one turned 1 and we just gave him warm cows milk instead of buying another tin as we knew he’d be swapping soon anyway, straight swap and there was no difference to him (he has been having cow’s milk in his porridge etc from about 6 months so used to the taste) x

I did a straight swap as I only had one bottles worth of formula last week and he was fine with it. He’s been having milk on his porridge and weetabix since he was about 8 months so he’s ok with it. I gave him what was left of the formula the other day when we had an overnight stay as it was easier to take that than to try and find a shop for milk and then heat it up in the room at the hotel. We’ve found that since he’s been on the cows milk he’s fuller for longer if he has a bottle in the day
