Bugaboo donkey

Quite niche but how are we putting bugaboo donkeys in the boot? As in where are the bassinets, are we folding with them on or off? What’s on the top? And how are you avoiding bassinets getting muddy from the wheels? We’ve got a Peugeot 5008 so a huge boot but still struggling to fit the pram let alone anything else

Hi we removed the bassinets and folded them down it’s such a faff but found it the easiest way to fit everything in. We put the frame in first and then bassinets. We also use shower caps for the wheels if they are particularly bad. Gets much better when you move on to the stroller part of the pram xxx

@Courtney excellent shout in the shower caps. We went for a muddy walk a few days ago and everything is covered

I honestly think I put it in the boot differently every time! 😂 I’m alway impressed with myself when I put it in “correctly” with ease and there appears to be plenty of space!

We cover the frame with a towel, I always remove bumper bars and folded basinet flatter. Occasionally I'd accidentally knock hoods off. It is a juggle working out the pram though try different configurations we've put it in 4 different cars and each one has a different best method of fitting it in

I basically shove it in however it'll go, I have a tiny boot it's a nightmare 🤣

I make the frame down to a single and put that in first upright (so the wheels & handle are at the bottom), and then stack the bassinets (with no bumper bars) on top of each other - bottom one flat and the one on top at kind of an angle 😂
