Could be sick with something? Take another test. Look into pelvic inflammatory disease
@Rasa nausea has been for a little over 3 weeks. Due to some dietary needs in the family, we cook everything with clean and simple ingredients, I am breastfeeding my son and he’s allergic to dairy, soy, and eggs, so I haven’t been eating that for 3 months. No blood tests recently No cycle yet and I didn’t have one for 15 months after my daughter so idk if this time around will be the same or not I’ve had 2 miscarriages, PCOS, and MTHFR mutation. Labor was natural with no complications. I have PPA and originally thought the nausea may be related to anxiety but I’m feeling less anxious now that the holidays are passed and the nausea is getting worse. I don’t feel sick otherwise, no fever, but am having headaches and dizzy spells
@Amanda Brown Ive thought maybe PID but I saw that it’s caused from untreated STI or BV which I tested negative for all of that 🤔
First things first get your GP to run a blood test. Check your haemoglobin hormones and general baseline. PPA will cause anxiety. PCOS adds to that (I would request a hormone pannel as well as thyroid function) As nausea has been going on for 3 weeks, I wouldn't think that you're pregnant again, especially after you have removed the coil. The discharge could easily have been due to the coil (copper does die the skin green, easily will do that discharge more over you had a swab that didn't indicate any issues) Dizziness and headaches can be due to anaemia ( blood tests will show that, so make sure you get ferotonin and haemoglobin test. GPs like to check on haemoglobin unless told otherwise) How is your water intake? I applaud you for cooking healthy, but the question then do you eat enough calories? Breastfeeding mothers require at least 2300 calories to sustain breast milk production. More importantly, nausea can be due to your body changing and adjusting to a postpartum
Womens bodies do not properly adjust to postpartum until after 6 - 24 months. Also, I am not proficient in the coil side effects it could be due to that as you eluded, but like anything, it needs time to leave your body. So give it 1-2 weeks after the coil has been removed and then see if there is still a need to revisit this matter.
What type of MTHR mutation do you have ? Homozygous or Heterozygous ?
Did you have your homocysteine levels checked?
@Rasa I do have a sensitivity to metals (I have to buy the expensive earrings or my ear piercings get infected). Idk why I didn’t consider that when thinking of putting metal inside me. I don’t think / didn’t think pregnancy but wanted to rule it out since ectopic pregnancy can happen with iud (although rare) I will request blood levels. Those are some very helpful insights. Water intake is high but could be better. I’ve been craving warm drinks this cold season so I’ve been drinking a lot of warm caffeine free teas and alternating with 20oz of lemon water. I increased my carb (whole wheat pasta/rice and oats) intake when I had to take out dairy. I need to work on my patience 😅 I have hetero for MTHFR No I have not had my homocysteine levels checked
Hetero means less likely to cause any serious issues. Having said that, they should have checked your homocysteine. Do you ever check your folate, choline, or vitamins B12, B6, or riboflavin levels? I have hashimotos. Due to it, i can easily get deficient in the B complex vit, so I do supplement. This can easily add to general sluggishness and anxiety as you're not feeling your best.
In a nutshell, take home conclusions: 1. Ensure you have a proper check-up bloods and all (if any issues arise from that, you can revisit this topic later) 2. I have a hunch that you have vit deficiency, primarily b12, as you have the gene mutation that makes you more susceptible to it, not to mention breastfeeding. Vit definitely can cause digestive track issues such as your indicating.
Was the pregnancy test negative then? Sorry to say it but I got pregnant on the copper coil and it wasn’t ectopic. The damn thing fell out of place it can happen
Based on what symptoms you have, there's not much you need to do. Not a medic, BTW. The discharge and nausea can easily be unrelated, and unless you had nausea boughts for months, I wouldn't worry. For anything else, there is loads of information missing: How long has the nausea been ongoing? What is your food intake like? Have you done any blood tests? How's your cycle? Are there any previous issues? Etc...
