My little guy is the same. He is exclusively breastfed and the pediatrician told me it's normal due to "complete absorption" of breast milk. As long as when she does poop, it's not hard and belly is not distended/painful
@Lisa Hii Lisa, thank you for your reply. When she poops the consistency and color is good (Yellow, seedy, soft and loose). It was never hard. So it’s actually not constipation. I will not say this word anymore :) she finally pooped Friday (after I sent this message in this group) it was a lot, even her belly had poop. I’m so relived! Thank you so much again. Maybe she will poop in 5 days next.
@Randi thank you Randi! When she poops it’s not hard at all, it has good consistency and color. Good to hear from other mommas that I am not alone!! :)
@Kiyah thank you so much for sharing it Kiyah!!! I will ask the pediatrician about the juice! :)
Hi, please don’t buy a suppository! When she poops is it rock solid? If so that’s constipation, if not then it’s normal. My boy used to go once a week up until he started solids. Breast milk has very little waste, it’s easily digested so as long as you are getting wet nappies it’s nothing to worry about (this is what doctors told me). If you are still concerned go back to your GP or health visitor, but don’t take matters into your own hands.
