washing baby clothes

I think after 30-32 week mark your good to start doing everything haha you never know when baby will come even 26 weeks sometimes I had my bag packed by 32 weeks I was so ready to give birth😅

@Maya i have my bag packed from 25 weeks😭 just want it all done never know but idk if it was to to early

(Not in this group) - but top tip, don’t wash everything. Just wash the stuff you’re gonna use at first, and then wash things slowly as baby starts to move up sizes. I washed everything and then my LO didn’t wear everything & I could have sold it with tags if not/or even exchanged in some places

I’m just waiting till my wee ones nursery is done so it’s not sat in the box of clothes I’ve bought and then just wash it then put it away in her drawers

My plan is 4-6 weeks before due date. That's when we are setting up everything in our room. Some of the clothes, blankets, swaddles will sit out in baskets so I don't want them to get too dusty.

@Jess what washing stuff do you recommend eczema runs in my family so I’m 99.999% sure she may end up having it

@Keara I always always use non bio, and then the white fabric conditioner (branded one, but either brand if you know what I mean), my LO had eczema and I have really sensitive skin so works well for us

29 weeks and I washed everything a few weeks ago (while we had some decentish weather) and just popped them in the drawer with a towel over them so they don't get dusty or anything.
