Taking 3 month old to Australian Open: thoughts?

Hi friends, I’ve been asked to bring our 3 month old along to the Australian Open next week (ground access pass). It’ll be a top of 31 degrees and I’m concerned that it’ll be too hot and uncomfortable for LO. It’s been suggested that a) parents rooms onsite are great and b) to use the onsite sensory rooms as a space to take Bub for some chill time during the day. Keen to hear from mums who’ve taken their bubs around 3-5 months to the tennis for a day out in previous years. Is it doable?

Not me but following as am going with my 6 month old next week too!

I wouldn’t because of the heat. I took my 8 week old to Gumbuya World on Wednesday and we were under the brollies at all times and he got sunburnt! It’s not recommended to put sunscreen on under 6 months and it was too hot to wear long sleeves or pants

Don't do it. Too hot, and bubs can't wear sunscreen yet. Neither of you will have a good enough time to make it worth the stress

I take my baby everywhere, hot or loud is usually not an issue but people want quiet for the Aus open- it’s worse than the cinema. I wouldn’t, even though I have a relatively easy baby I can’t expect him to be quiet the whole time watching the tennis, it’ll be a distraction for others and anxiety-ridden for us if they make noises or don’t settle. I have taken him to the cinema at 3m though he slept in the pram for 90% of the movie
