Team gentle parent all the way!! However I have old school values.

I do whatever fits my baby needs at that moment.

Reminder that gentle parenting is not permissive parenting and you can have consequences and punishment within the gentle parenting realm.

Gentle parenting for sure but it is totally not permissive parenting. We have boundaries, stern voices and consequences over here but all within a realm of my being in control of my emotions being the goal. I try to process any frustration, anger, etc. that might(does 🤣) come up when navigating a 2 and 5 year old lol my goal is for me to own my emotions so that I don’t react out of emotion with my girls. I’d rather discipline to teach and guide them which means consequences and clear direction.
