My LB also had a fever of 39 after his injections. He had sore/achey legs and got a hard lump on one of the injection sites that was swollen for 3 weeks (can stay swollen for up to 2m apparently). They can also get a rash from the mmr vax... my nurse advise all of these are common side effects of the jabs. Then a less common side effect is swelling around the jawline as well. This was all advice given to me by our nurse at the appointment. Your nurse should have also given you patient information leaflets from each of the vaccines which list common/rare side effects, worth looking at them if she develops anything else your concerned about. Hope your LG is OK soon x
My daughter got so ill everytime. Was like she was in pain the crying 😢 she got developed eczema at the injection sites too a couple weeks later and it wasn’t until several GP appointments later they admitted it was a reaction to the jabs. That won’t happen to everyone but always remember YOU know your child best. When she had the fever I gave her Calpol and let her sleep it off and she was fine after about 36-48 hours each time but in general I always tell mums now if I could go back I wouldn’t have let them give so many at once. They don’t have to give that many they just do it to get it out of the way. My daughter won’t be having more in general I still deal with her large sore patches at injection sites now more than a year later but I understand you have to do what you’re comfortable with. Just look at mum groups for advice nhs won’t admit how common reactions are because they want population vaccinated
