Potty training potties

Just wondering if anyone has gotten started with getting all the bits for potty training? I think we might start next month (17 months) although I’m not expecting much. He does answer us if he has a peepee or poopoo diaper so I feel like he understands that it’s uncomfortable. I just don’t know if we should just get one potty (like a travel one) or use a bigger stationary one for the bathroom as well. Does anyone have any idea 😅

I got a little simple potty for my LG for christmas, not planning on fully potty training her anytime soon but she loves to follow me to the toilet and will now sit on her potty, and we wash and dry hands after and she thinks it's great 😂

We have seat reducers, potty for the bathroom and a travel seat.

We’ve got the Nuby toilet potty downstairs and just a little basic one in her room. At the moment she just sits on them for fun or makes her teddies pee and poo 😂 We also got a good book for her called No More Nappies which she loves

One potty for home and one for travel!

I think we will have multiple potties. I read the Oh Crap training book recently and it suggests always having one within fast reach. So we will have one in the downstairs loo and then another in his room for night training, as well as a travel one with a lid :)
