My son had about a week and a half of diarrhea in November similar to you where he was totally fine and his usual self despite the Nappies. We didn't do anything different and it just sorted itself out in the end so must have just been a mild virus I think.
Mine always has this when hes teething
Hey, my baby had this once and it turned out that he had a bacterial infection. It lasted over a week. Only thing I can suggest is make sure he’s well hydrated and put some cream on his bum at every nappy change as it’ll get really sore. It’s great he’s still his normal self! Wishing him better soon xx
@Parris thanks - yes he’s suffered with nappy rash 😭😭 I’m bathing him more than normal and smothering him in cream with lots of nappy free time. With yours what food did you offer? Xxxx
@Kirsty thanks for commenting - how long did your son have this for? The doctors have said it it doesn’t clear up by Wednesday I need to do a stool sample xxx
@Marie Cullen aloe vera gel helps massively with nappy rash, also breast milk if you have any in freezer if you pat on
@Marie Cullen poor thing. Our neals yard baby barrier cream helped so much. We fed him anything that contained water like fruits! He was not really eating at this time, nor was he drinking much so I was happy with anything but to up his water intake I prioritised foods with high water content x
@Marie Cullen it was about a week and a half in total but it started easing up after a week so they got less frequent and less runny gradually
Thanks everyone Thankfully I’ve noticed today that is is less frequent however, still runny! He ate his egg on toast for lunch and chicken for tea but was off his breakfast. I’m hoping hes on the mend! Really appreciate everyone’s comments 🥰💕
Forgot to add I’ve stopped given him foods that can trigger diarrhoea. He’s only having banana, toast etc xxx
