Walking

My girl was 10/04/23 and doesn’t know how walk yet either. Was thinking about doing physical therapy for her as well but best of luck momma!!!

10/03/23 and still not walking. His pediatrician said not to worry unless he is not walking by 18 months.

My daughter is the same. She’ll take a few steps in PT but screams through them. She doesn’t let me work on it at home. She’s very against walking.

My daughter was born 10/6 and still isn’t walking. Shes pulling up, cruising and climbing. Her pediatrician isn’t worried until 18 months. She told me she could walk she’s just choosing not to.

Baby boy born 10/10/23, i have him in PT once weekly also, won't walk. Will stand now on his own for maybe 10 seconds but is still wobbly and will sit and is afraid to step. Will scale holding on.

Baby Girl 10/8, has been walking holding on to only the couch since August of 2024. Started letting us practice walking with her since December 2024, before that she would throw herself on her knees. So right now she does alot of walking on the walker, practices walking, and has stood alone a couple of times, but she hasn’t walked alone yet. Not worried about it until 18 months. However, I have definitely seen changes in the right direction since 12/2024.

@Jessica Be patient with your boy, looks like he’s moving in the right direction. It’s considered a problem if they are not walking by 18 months, and you already have him in therapy.

No walking either! 10/7/23. It will happen soon!!

The physical therapy will help. Ask the therapist for tips you can do on your own with him to support the process. Limit the time he’s in any seat or container. Lots of floor time

10/14 and can take a few steps but not confident enough to fully walk. She wants to i know she does. Just a waiting game at this point

10/28/23 not walking, not pulling to stand PT says he has to build those leg muscles. Also born 6 weeks premature and has epilepsy but maybe your little one needs help building leg muscles. Just a thought! We got this mama 💪
