We ask if she's all done with baby sign language and then try again later if we have this. I get quite frustrated by it. My husband is much more patient
@CeeCee I started letting her feed herself pretty quickly because she hates me feeding her. She snatches the spoon and cries if I don’t give it to her… which then also goes on the floor 🥲
@Jaankidoes the baby sign language work? When did you start teaching?
@Melissa we started really early on as she's my second. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. We do sing and sign classes they are great for under 2s. She signs when she wants milk, water, more, finished, eat.
This is why I still spoon feed her most of a meal- for example if I make broccoli and cream cheese pasta, I roughly blend the sauce with some of the pasta until chunky but spoonable, and feed her that, along with her also feeding herself some pieces which she also sometimes throws. Its the only way I know shes actually swalling a good amount of food
