Maid of honour

Not baby related sorry. I am my friends Maid of Honour. We have very different tastes, always have but how honest should I be when she asks my opinion? She's been asking my opinion on so much which is fine I've been saying it's lovely suggesting little changes throwing ideas etc. She has asked me for my homest opinion on the rings to help her choose between two. Now for my taste, one I love one I dont but she loves both so what do I say they are both her style one I love one I wouldn't wear. Do I give her my honest opinion or keep saying it's your choice lovely etc I don't want to upset her but don't want to be false!

Deffo keep it honest! Depends how brutal you guys are to each other, if she’s asking for it then I’d give it, I just wouldn’t mention anything if she doesn’t ask xx

@Saskia she's been sending me pictures all week asking the thing is they are probably both nice to but the one I definitely wouldn't wear as I dont find it nice but it's her decision so I dont want to feel like I'm trying to put a downer on her?

There's no reason you can't be honest & tell her which one you love. If she loves both of them, then it doesn't matter because she wins either way.

I’d be honest but make it very clear that that’s just your opinion and what YOU like and that if she’s not into that one as much as the other that’s totally fine because it’s hers and she’s the one wearing it at the end of the day

Am sure your honest opinion has been requested because she cant decide and needs help! She's given you two choices to choose from hoping your opinion and possubly other people's may sway her - like having a poll. Sometimes you don't know exactly which you prefer until someone picks the one you don't like. So your opinion doesn't equal choosing for her, she'll still have the final say
