Less milk/ fighting some of feeds

Anyone else’s LO going through a difficult milk stage? We’re in the thick of sleep hell, 30 min naps, more night feeds, lots of false starts at bedtime sleep but now he seems to be playing with the bottle teat in his mouth and isn’t taking his feed properly. He is 16 weeks on Tuesday and is definitely teething quite badly.

Yes we have recently been through a fussy feed stage. Pretty much every feed is split into two sessions around 1-2 hours to get through one bottle.

Going through the exact same with my 17 week old!

Glad we’re not alone! It’s just so annoying having to keep going back to a bottle for over an hour! 😭 he’s usually guzzle it down in under 10 mins!!

When my twins went through this stage I ended up waiting until they were really hungry before offering the bottle , because they would mess around with it , and only take 3 oz and waste my precious ebm ... it only lasted about a week but it was exhausting!

Yep my son is 16 weeks on Tuesday too and he’s been fussy with the bottle for a while now. I know he is hungry but he’ll scream when I put it in his mouth and then not properly suck on the test. Can take a few attempts for him to finally drink from it. Must be common around this age!!

Ahh going through the same with my daughter 😰

Another day of battling with the milk but a few things that worked today were putting teething powder on his bottom gums a few mins before his feed, brown noise quite loud, holding a bright coloured book above my head (lol) and feeding him just as he started to stir from his nap so he didn’t have time to wake up and start chewing the teat 😅 Hopefully back to normal for us all soon!!!
