We had the same problem. I started potty training my son 3 weeks ago and he is turning 3 in a month. Pee took 3 days of practice to be without any accidents but poo took around 2-2.5 weeks. He was scared of popping in the potty regardless of books and songs we tried. He suddenly got it and announced that he needs to poop in the potty. You need to keep repeating that he is a big boy and needs to poop in the potty ( without shaming or stressing him out). If he had accidents tell him it’s okay and he is learning but he will keep trying to poo in the potty. Also if he had accident, try to empty the poop in the potty and ask him to help you out flushing and saying bye to poop. It takes lots of patience but it will happen. I spoke to so many other moms and poo might even take a month or two to learn. Hang in there mama you are doing a great job 👏🏼

Yeah, my son got used to weeing in the potty within three days, but yeah, like @Baran also said mine was scared to let his poo out in the potty so what we did was wait till we saw him trying to poo then rush and put him on the potty or on the toilet and after the first time he saw the poo in the potty it became a lot easier for him to understand that it’s okay for him to poo in the toilet and the poo took about three weeks for him to understand, so he will get it soon, I try not to listen to any of these other timelines that people put online. Every child is different and will learn each stage differently so he will get there too

Thank you so much !!! That is helpful…, I think I am stressing with all the timelines …
