How does anyone do this?

I have no help. I can't afford childcare. I don't get breaks. Some days I feel like jumping off a bridge. I love my child to death but it's so hard to struggle through him refusing to nap and sleep when it's several days in a row because he's teething and has a cold. Several hours of rocking only to have it undone when I put him in the crib. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Don’t battle him for sleep. I know you’re tired but if you are struggling for hours put him down to play and go make yourself a cup of tea and just sit for thirty minutes. Routine is nice but when they’re teething and have a cold sometimes things do not go as planned. Some Tylenol, honey for the cold to soothe the fussiness

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Have you tried applying for the WIC program. They may provide assistance with child care.

Yesssss apply for wic. You need that. Give him some Tylenol and Vicks. My daughter was like that. Omg it was a mess so i understand.

Do you only have one child? When it was just me and my first, for naps I used her naps as my rest time and had to let go of whatever I needed to do, it can wait. We bed shared and I just nursed her to sleep and later down with her for her nap. When I tried

Sorry didn’t mean to hit send yet. If I tried to put her in a crib it was hours of rocking just for her to wake up when I set her down. With my second bed rails have saved me. I never wanted to leave my first in the bed alone but now I have my oldest do a quiet activity while I nurse my second in the bed and then get up once he falls asleep and we have the mesh bed rails incase he rolls and I watch him on the monitor.
