I’d get it checked. I didn’t know anything about it but my friend had cholestasis in her recent pregnancy. It can be dangerous so worth checking so they can write it off.

I'm exactly the same! 2nd baby too. I've been thinking about ringing the midwives to get it checked out.x

Mine has only been the last few days but is really dry my partner said looks like eczema or dermatitis x

Sounds like eczema to me, I’ve had it all my life and it’s been much worse during this pregnancy. It’s been super cold the last week as well which dries your hands out more. Aveeno is great, keep them well moisturised, particularly after washing and see if it improves :) if it doesn’t improve in a week then definitely get it checked so they can prescribe something stronger x

Hi, I am currently pregnant with my second baby. During my first pregnancy, at 32 weeks. I started with symptoms of itchy hands at night that wouldn't go away. I rang my midwife who advised they would need to do a blood test known as an LFT (Liver function test) to check your liver function levels and also your bile acid levels. If they come back high, it will immediately put you to high risk. And this is exactly what I was experiencing. Nothing to worry about in terms of baby, you will be checked regularly and have weekly bloods to keep an eye on them bild acid levels. It will lead to an induction but they will leave you to at least 37 weeks when the baby would be classed as full term. If you experience this in a pregnancy, the chances are higher of you getting this again if yoh was to fall pregnant in the future. I'm going through the checks for this currently. Hope this helps and you get the answers and reassurance you want🙂Xx
