Milk supply

How do I increase my milk supply? I have a 9 month old I’m EBF and I recently lost a pregnancy at 16 weeks, my milk supply took a massive drop when I was pregnant expecting. I tried pumping but only get drops after 30 minutes. I am nursing on demand still but I’m not giving her enough she still wants at least two bottles through the day and two meals of solid food. I know she’s getting close enough to be off breast feeding but my goal was 2 years and I would rather give her breast milk than cows milk.

Increase latching. The more baby sucks the more you'll make.

Cows milk is optional not needed

So sorry to hear about your loss ❤️ Milk supply is demand-based, so the more you can encourage your baby to feed on you the more your body will start to produce. You can consider adding in some pumping if you like, but obviously this can be a bit labour intensive!

Try power pumping rather than just a long pump. Mimic cluster feeding with the pump as it’ll help up supply better. Also just try latch baby as often as possible x
